i feel so tired. insignificant. all of my works and contributions flushed down the toilet in just a blink of an eye. they don't care and it doesn't really matter. to them, i'm just an order taker.
taga-pindot ng KOMPYUTER.
i need to do something before i go nuts.
and before you go nuts thinking why the word "carinderia," let me tell you what is the nature of the carinderia. when you go to a carinderia there's always a big sign that says SHORT ORDER: pancit, palabok, spaghetti vis-a-vis the size of the bilao and the price. it means when you want to buy, say, a large bilao of palabok, your order will be ready in no time.
translate that into office fun and you get very much like the situation where i'm in. i get an influx of orders just about any time of the day, but mostly they come in when the day is almost over. and i'm expected to deliver them the way they want them and whenever they want them.
soon enough i will change the sign that hangs by our door that reads "Creative Department" to CARINDERIA department. at least, that way i don't have to whine about the way we're treated here.
come to think of it. a carinderia is better compared to our plight. once you've placed your order, paid for it and consumed it, there is no hell of a way that you can have your order changed into another dish and get a refund of your previous order.
with us, after all the hardwork from planning, conceptualization, previewing, revision, beta-testing and even up to the point of having the works already printed large-scale, or burned as a VCD, or uploaded as a website, we're still in the lane of uncertainty that any time, our works are still prone to be junked in favor of a "less complicated" idea.
duh!? what am i still doing here!?
